Working Title:
Assistant Professor of Anatomic Pathology
Official Title:
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR(C30NN) or ASSISTANT PROFESSOR(C40NN)
Degree and area of specialization:
DVM or DMV/PhD (or equivalent). ACVP or ECVP Board Certification or eligibility.
  License/certification:
 Licensed or eligible for DVM licensure in Wisconsin.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
A minimun of two years of post-residency experience in diagnostic anatomic pathology preferred but not required.
Principal duties:
The selected individual will support UW Veterinary Care through performance of anatomic pathology service (necropsy and surgical biopsy). He or she will assist in the training of anatomic pathology residents and contribute to the professional veterinary student instructional program. The selected individual will be expected to develop an active scholarly program. Individuals appointed on the tenure track would be expected to develop an extramurally funded research program resulting in peer-reviewed publications.

 This vacancy is being announced simultaneously with companion PVL96355; please note that only one vacancy exists. Having two position vacancy listings allows the School of Veterinary Medicine to consider candidates with both tenure-track faculty credentials and non-tenure-track faculty credentials for this position.
