Assistant Clinical Professor for Clinical Pathology

Degree and area of specialization:
DVM or DVM/PhD (or equivalent). ACVP or ECVP Board Certification or eligibility.
  Licensed or eligible for DVM licensure in Wisconsin.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
A minimum of two years of post-residency experience in diagnostic clinical pathology preferred but not required
Principal duties:
The selected individual will support UW Veterinary Care through performance of clinical pathology service and will train clinical pathology residents and contribute to the professional veterinary student instructional program. The selected individual will be expected to develop an active and collaborative scholarly program.

Clincal Service 35%
1. Clinical pathology service

Teaching 30%
1 Laboratory Teaching

Research 25%
1. Participate in collaborative research

Service Responsiblities 10%
1. Involvement in committees at the Department, School, and University level along with involvement at the professional committee level.

 This vacancy is being announced simultaneously with companion PVL96316; please note that only one vacancy exists. Having two position vacancy listings allows the School of Veterinary Medicine to consider candidates with both tenure-track faculty credentials and non-tenure-track faculty credentials for this position.
