 Eligible for Wisconsin medical license. Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Candidates for Associate Professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for Clinical track.
Principal duties:
The incumbent will be expected to provide clinical patient care, admitting and managing hospital inpatients, including serving as staff to pre-op evaluation clinic, post-discharge rapid follow-up clinic. The incumbent will also provide medical consultation within the hospital; teach residents, medical students, fellows in relation to patients on the hospitalist service; and participate in system-wide quality improvement projects at UW Health approved locations.
  Additional Information
 It is anticipated that this position will be filled at 25% FTE. An increase in FTE is possible at a later date based on program needs and candidate preference.
A criminal background check will be conducted prior to hiring.
