 Eligible for Wisconsin medical license
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Board Certification/Eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Completed four-year approved/accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Board certified or eligible.
Principal duties:
Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinical services, teaching medical students and residents in obstetrics, and fellows in maternal-fetal medicine, as well as clinical research. MFM faculty staff care for highest risk pregnancies, provide consults for high- complexity cases and staff prenatal diagnosis unit. We have a well-established ADA-recognized diabetes in pregnancy program. The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division performs approximately 9000 ultrasounds with nine sonographers in a state-of-the art diagnostic unit. The UW obstetrics services have been primarily located at Meriter Hospital for more than three decades with over 3,800 deliveries annually in a modern facility with a pleasant work environment. Duties also include participation in departmental and divisional conferences, departmental and hospital committees, and quality improvement process. The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public and university service.

 This vacancy is being announced simultaneously with PVL# 93451; please note that only two vacancy exists. Having two positions vacancy listing allows the School of Medicine and Public Health to consider candidates with both CHS-track faculty and CT-track faculty credentials for this position.

For appointment at Associate Professor (CHS) level, the candidate must meet criteria as defined in guidelines for appointment or promotion on the CHS track in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
