| Eligible for Wisconsin medical license. Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine. |
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Candidates for Associate or full Professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for Clinical or CHS track. |
Principal duties:
For Clinical Teacher (CT) position - The incumbent will be expected to provide clinical patient care, admitting and managing hospital inpatients, including serving as staff to pre-op evaluation clinic, post-discharge rapid follow-up clinic. The incumbent will also provide medical consultation within the hospital; teach residents, medical students, fellows in relation to patients on the hospitalist service; and participate in system-wide quality improvement projects at UW Health approved locations.
For Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) position - The incumbent will be expected to provide clinical patient care, admitting and managing hospital inpatients, including serving as staff to pre-op evaluation clinic, post-discharge rapid follow-up clinic. The incumbent will also provide medical consultation within the hospital; teach residents, medical students, fellows in relation to patients on the hospitalist service; and participate in system-wide quality improvement projects at UW Health approved locations. Participation in research endeavors of the Division expected. |
