Position Summary:
The Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies (CHESS) is recruiting several project coordinators. The project coordinators will be assigned to the CHESS Technical Transfer Centers (TTCs) and/or the Behavioral Health Excellence - Technical Assistance Center (BHE-TAC). The TTCs provide training and technical assistance to the behavioral workforce that provides substance use disorder, mental health, and substance use prevention services in Health and Human Services Region 5 (includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The BHE-TAC will provide tailored technical assistance for Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Behavioral Workforce Development programs and create community and academic partnerships through a set of learning collaboratives.

The project coordinators' responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assist with learning collaboratives and technical assistance initiatives; assist with the creation of presentations on behalf of the project; coordinate all webinar and training logistics. Local and remote applicants will be considered for this role.

Principal duties:
Organizes the development and delivery of outreach programs, including the responsibility for staffing. Assists with policy development and organizes resources to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences.

Job Responsibilities
20% Directs the implementation of program policies and procedures

20% Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships to promote the outreach program

20% Schedules and secures logistics and resources in support of an outreach program

20% Schedules day-to-day activities for program staff and student and community volunteers

20% Identifies opportunities for program improvement or new outreach program development
