Position Summary:
This position works under the general supervision of the Director of Student Enterprise Applications (SEA) and is responsible for supporting the UW-Madison Division of Enrollment Management (DEM), which includes the offices of Admissions and Recruitment, Registrar and Office of Student Financial Aid, as well as the Bursar's office. This position will plan, coordinate, and help execute the development, testing, implementation, integration, and installation of Student Information System resources, upgrades, new functionality and security components in alignment with industry best practices. They will work closely with the area leads in the Office of Registrar to prototype and evaluate functional and technical enhancements the office can utilize in deploying Oracle Campus Solutions to support the teaching and learning mission of the University.

Additionally, this individual will serve as expert counsel for the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) and the Division of Enrollment Management (DEM) in the development and support of Oracle Student Management Cloud.

The mission of the Division of Enrollment Management is to strategically strengthen the competitiveness of UW-Madison in achieving enrollment goals and to collaborate with campus partners to provide information and services to enhance student success. The offices within the Division provide the foundation of support and services for the academic infrastructure throughout the student lifecycle. Principal duties:
60% Student Enterprise Applications Administrator
-Work closely with Associate Registrars to explore and evaluate functionality of Oracle Campus Solutions to enable new features to be used with appropriate controls and access in place. Focus on cultivating and maintaining collaborative relationships with functional units while building sustainable infrastructure and adhering to security standards and requirements. Aid in integration of external systems and processes.
-Consult with end users and facilitate planning, application, and functional design sessions with stakeholders from internal departments to reach consensus on system needs and requirements.
-Facilitate implementation of creative solutions to leverage delivered Oracle Campus Solutions functionality with minimal customizations.
-Maintain user access and data security. Ensure security procedures adhere to Office of Cybersecurity policies.
-Leverage subject matter expertise in Oracle Campus Solutions and Student Cloud management to advise team members and partners on options, risks and costs, and ensure solutions meet the needs of the business.

30% Student Management Cloud Systems Analyst
-Prove out and prototype new functionality and anticipate impact to stakeholder.
-Work with the Student Management Cloud team to showcase systems capabilities for new target populations.
-Translate stakeholder business needs into the appropriate system-specific concepts, including defining technical and configuration tasks.
-Troubleshoot and report system problems that involve Student Cloud Management.
-Participate in testing of system-wide updates for Student Cloud Management.
-Recommend and participate in the implementation and design of system enhancements or changes that may involve custom design or third-party products.

10% Meet the standards set forth in the area-specific and office-wide 'Standards and Expectation' documents maintained by area supervisors and the Office of the Registrar leadership team.
