Position Summary:
This individual will be the co-instructor for Botany 130 - General Botany in the Fall 2021 semester.

Principal duties:
Co-Teach Botany 130 - General Botany in the Fall 2021 semester. This course will have an enrollment of approximately 180+ students. The lecturer will primarily teach the topics of systematics, plant and fungal diversity, evolution, and ecology.

- Conduct three one-hour lectures each week (9:55 am - 10:45 am MWF)
- Teach two laboratory/discussion sections (5 hrs/week/section)
- Assist the faculty associate course coordinator with supervision of 3-5 TAs
- Write and administer lectures and lecture exams.
- Provide regular office hours for students, respond to student inquiries, manage online course content, and conduct review sessions.
- Fulfill all administrative duties associated with the class, including weekly TA meetings.
