Position Summary:
Reporting to the Program Director, the student services coordinator will coordinate and execute the development and implementation of the administrative activities of graduate degree programs and certificates. Performs activities which may include: recruitment, admissions, new student orientation, academic advising, monitoring of progress towards the degree, course and enrollment management, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, funding, course and/or program assessment, and academic program review.

Principal duties:
(20%) Schedules logistics, provides resources, responds to, and advocates for graduate students while continuously improving the student experience and overall graduate program

(15%) Serves as the primary resource for applicants, current students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders of an academic program

(15%) Provides in-depth advising services promoting graduate student success, retention, and degree completion. Advises on programs, graduate education, and university policies, processes, and procedures. Monitors degree progress and assists students in navigating resources and systems throughout the student lifecycle from matriculation to degree completion

(15%) Maintains compliance with graduate program(s), school/college, and university requirements and technology systems related to admissions, assessment, academic degree progress/requirements, and program review. Assists with developing policy and procedure recommendations and/or changes

(10%) Deliver high touch admissions services, including individual phone interviews with applicants across multiple programs while acting as a chair of admissions committees

(10%) Coordinates and executes the development and implementation of programming, services, and events to promote professional development and academic success

(5%) Coordinates, implements, and maintains graduate student funding including, but not limited to, fellowships, scholarships, training grants, or assistantships from department, university, and/or outside sponsors

(5%) Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders in support of recruitment initiatives including webinars, events, Salesforce, marketing, etc.

(5%) Develop and implement administrative processes (schedule of classes, course lists, rosters, Guide, webinar schedule) to organize and communicate unique dimensions of delivering multiple programs that run classes across numerous academic departments
