Position Summary:
The Dairy Business Innovation Alliance (DBIA) Program Coordinator is expected to manage the day-to-day activities involved with this initiative and its expanding activities. The successful individual will work with regional collaborators to deliver the grant & technical assistance programs and report to the DBIA Senior Management Team for guidance and direction. Over time, the successful applicant will be expected to proactively contribute to the development, implementation and administration DBIA's programs area.

Principal duties:
Responsible for the organization and management of several grant program cycles involving up to $1 million+ dollars each. This will include marketing coordination & follow up with the DBIA collaborators, respond to inquiries from applicants, ongoing evaluation of the application process with the DBIA Senior Management Team, collaborator communications, project management and effective record keeping. (45%)

Responsible for DBIA program technical assistance coordination and administration including managing the DBIA website, coordinating the development and implementation of DBIA webinars and seminars, administering follow-up surveys/reports and responding to participant inquiries. (30%)

Responsible for initiating and contributing to interim and final reports for the USDA, serve on the grant review committee, provide feedback and program recommendations to the Senior DBIA Management Team. (10%)

Responsible for DBIA administration duties such as, scheduling management meetings, DBIA collaborator coordination, Center for Dairy Research (CDR)/Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) coordination (15%)

Required to perform other duties as requested (e.g. attend meetings, develop presentations etc.) to assist the DBIA mission as requested by supervisor and the CDR Director.
