Position Summary:
This position resides in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) which is located at the heart of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. CALS is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges devoted to the study of our living world. This non-exempt benefits-eligible position performs a wide variety of administrative and logistical support services for faculty, staff, and student employees working in our divisional finance and administration units. The incumbent will manage a wide range of tasks from within the functional areas of Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Research Grant Management.

Duties are performed under the general supervision of the CALS Project Coordinator.

Principal duties:
Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures. (30%)

Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision. (30%)

Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations.(25%)

Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities.(5%)

Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums. (10%)
