Position Summary:
The Laryngeal Physiology Lab in the Division of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery is looking to recruit a full-time Research Specialist to assist in research in the area of voice analysis and help manage student projects. An ideal candidate will be a recent graduate from a biology or engineering-related major, and have an interest in going to medical school. An ideal candidate will also have strong problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity to get involved with all aspects of research and for students to improve their resume and application to medical or graduate schools!

Principal duties:
1. Research coordination and management of undergraduate research assistants (student hourly position holders) in the laboratory. 50%
2. Assist in designing and executing experiments; Data collection and analysis. 30%
3. Assist with preparation and management of grant proposals to various funding agencies. 20%
