Position Summary:
WIDA, an organization within the University of Wisconsin-Madison Wisconsin Center for Education Research, is a national leader in the development of preK-12 English Language Development standards and assessments (wida.wisc.edu). The organization is also committed to bilingual development which currently includes preK-12 Spanish Language Development (SLD) Standards and professional learning opportunities. This position is located in the Professional Learning Department, which designs and delivers innovative professional development opportunities related to the implementation of the WIDA standards and assessment products.

Principal duties:
* In collaboration with team members, develop professional learning workshops and related resources for educators serving Multilingual Learners.
* In collaboration with team members, develop online professional learning e-workshops and resources for educators.
* Facilitate a variety of WIDA face-to-face professional learning events and e-workshops.
* Collaborate with team members to develop resources and/or provide training and assistance on the WIDA system, including the WIDA standards, assessment and instructional frameworks.
* Work with team members to collect, analyze and synthesize key stake holders data in order to make improvements to WIDA Professional Learning products and services.
