Title Specifications

Job Summary:This position performs highly technical customer service functions by direct and indirect interaction with customers to ensure the translation of the customer's written and verbal order instructions into the terminology and specifications that will allow the School of Business copy center staff to produce the requested work. This position interacts a great deal with the work flow of the customer services and production areas.

Strong experience and considerable skilled knowledge in customer services are required for success in this position. Familiarity with technical and high quality printing, xerographic printing, terminology, and techniques is a necessity. The level of eventual responsibility is determined to a large degree by the individual's abilities in the position applying experience and knowledge to perform the duties of the position.

Must be experienced with personal computer keyboard entry. Must be able to lift and carry fifty pounds of paper to assist customers and co-workers. Must have strong oral communication skills, be able to understand faculty and staff oral and written instructions. Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with co-workers, faculty, staff, students and vendors in stressful situations.

7:45 - 4:30 Monday-Friday. Hours may vary depending upon the needs of the unit.
