2019 Annual Benefits Enrollment

October 1–26, 2018

Annual Benefits Enrollment is the only time you can make changes to certain benefits without having an eligible life event (for example, marriage, birth, or divorce) or qualifying employment change during the year.

Certain benefits offered to UW–Madison employees require re-enrollment each year.

Information about changes to your benefits options for 2019 and the enrollment process can be found on the 2019 Annual Benefits Enrollment website provided by the University of Wisconsin System.

Meet with benefits representatives and get answers to your questions. Representatives will be on hand to help you enroll in benefits via MyUW. The benefits seminar will be offered at:

This event also features an introduction to campus resources, presentations on personal finance and retirement topics, free flu shots (with insurance card), and more. Benefits Seminars with Questions and Answers

These seminars are open to all UW–Madison benefit eligible employees and are intended to provide you with information regarding changes to the 2019 UW benefits package. Attend any session that fits your schedule. No pre-registration required.

ALEX: Your Personalized Online Benefits Counselor

ALEX is an online resource for anyone who wants a better understanding of the comprehensive benefits offered to UW–Madison employees. ALEX will ask you a series of questions to walk you through your benefits options and suggest appropriate plans based on your answers. After attending one of the benefits seminars, employees who would like translation or interpretation services for an individual benefit appointment should contact their department or Cultural Linguistic Services.
