Income Continuation Insurance (ICI)

You must be enrolled in the plan in order to be eligible for benefits. ICI will replace up to 75% of your gross salary if you are unable to work and meet plan requirements. ICI covers both short and long term disabilities.

Long-Term Disability Insurance (LTDI)

The Long-Term Disability Insurance program closed to new claims effective January 1, 2018.

Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) Disability Retirement

You must meet WRS service requirements to be eligible. The benefit is based on your WRS years of service, with remaining years added until your normal retirement age (generally age 65) and your three highest years of earnings.

Duty Disability

If you are in a protective occupation (police officer, firefighter, etc.) and become disabled while performing your job, you may qualify for a Duty Disability.

Worker’s Compensation

If you are injured on the job or acquire a work related illness, you may be eligible for Worker’s Compensation benefits.
