M.D. or equivalent; completion of U.S. pediatric residency and allergy fellowship programs
  License/certification:
 WI medical licensure; BE/BC in allergy
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Completion of pediatric residency and allergy fellowship programs
Principal duties:
Position is primarily to serve outpatient pediatric allergy patients clinically, to expand the current availability to improve access as well as staff more evening clinics. Currently, more than half of pediatric allergy patients wait 8-30 days for an appointment at the West Clinic.

Teaching to a variety of learners will largely occur within the context of clinical care, but could inlcude classroom, small group and lectures as well.

Research, while not anticipated with this hire, could take the form of participation in clinical studies or enrolling patients in other faculty's studies.

The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service.
  Additional Information:
 Candidates for associate professor (CHS) or full professor (CHS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.
