Degree and area of specialization:
Candidate should have a terminal degree in medicine, nursing, law, public health or other disciplines related to clinical ethics. Seeking candidates with experience in teaching and research in clinical ethics, with an interest in leadership in the Bioethics Program. Joint appointment with a clinical department is anticipated.
 WI medical licensure is anticipated
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Scholarly research record and teaching experience preferred with experience in clinical consults and other ethics activities. Appointment at the tenured level requires record of proven record of excellence in teaching, research and service.
Principal duties:

Teaching, research, and service in clinical ethics, including ethics consultation, hospital ethics committee participation, and other appropriate activities. Participation in faculty governance appropriate to rank.

A criminal background check will be conducted prior to hiring.
