Heart Failure/ Transplant Program

Degree and area of specialization:
MD; BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
  License/certification:
 Eligible for Wisconsin medical license
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Record of clinical and translational research preferred. Candidates must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.
Principal duties:
Provide inpatient and outpatient clinic attending services at UW Hospitals and Clinics locations in Madison and at additional sites within the region; perform right heart catheterization and endomyocardioal biopsies. Will also participate in teaching medical students, residents and fellows, including CME lectures, as well as clinical research endeavors. Opportunities exist for pursuit of clinical research in candidate's area/s of interest. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue and secure independent funding to continue/develop their research.
