Degree and area of specialization:
M.D. - Board eligible or certified in Neurology.. Neuromuscular fellowship or equivalent experience.

  License/certification:
 Licensed or eligible for Wisconsin medical license.


Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Neuromuscular fellowship or equivalent experience required.

Training in muscle/nerve pathology desirable.

Candidates for clinicial associate professor or full clinical professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the clinician teacher track.



Academic credentials and experience for appointment at the selected rank of a non-tenure School of Medicine and Public Health track focusing primarily on clinical and teaching excellence. Appointment at the rank of associate or full CHS professor rank requires meeting criteria for appointment level as defined in School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to associate professor or professor on the Clinical Health Sciences track.

Principal duties:
Primary clinical duties will involve attending duties on neuromuscular/general neurology outpatient, inpatient consult and diagnostic services (Neuromuscular Lab, EMG) at UW Hospital and Clinics, VA Hospital, S. Park clinics and other locations

Participate in clinical and department teaching activities, including neurology clerkship, first year neuroscience, graduate student and trainee mentoring. Teach and train residents, fellows and medical students. Participate in continuing professional development programs.

The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service appropriate to the rank.
