Working Title:
Reproductive Endocrinologist
Official Title:
PROFESSOR(C20NN) or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR(C30NN) or ASSISTANT PROFESSOR(C40NN)
Degree and area of specialization:
M.D. Obstetrics and Gynecology. BC/BE subspecialty reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
  License/certification:
 Wisconsin medical licensure, BC/BE reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. For appointment at associate professor or professor (tenure) level, the candidate must meet criteria as defined in guidelines for appointment or promotion on the tenure track in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
Principal duties:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a subspecialist in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The individual will be involved with researching Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility techniques and advances.
The individual will participate in departmental educational activities to include teaching of medical students and residents as well as participating in didactic lectures. He/she will share with other members of the Endocrine and Infertility Division in academic activities. The individual will also work within outpatient clinics in endocrinology and infertility, surgical cases, inpatient attending, and call coverage.The employee will serve on departmental committees, subcommittees and task forces as assigned by the Chair.
This position will provide consultative services to physicians and allied health providers, program development, and clinical research, with the possibility of bench and translational research. This position will assist in the development and application of a future REI Fellowship Program and work to help standardize protocols.
The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service appropriate to the rank.
