Pediatric Pulmnologist

Degree and area of specialization:
M.D., completion of U.S. pediatric residency and pulmonology fellowship programs
 WI medical licensure; BC/BE in pediatric pulmnology
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Completion of U.S. pediatric residency and pulmnology fellowship programs. Interest in academic medicine, involving teaching to a variety of learners essential. Experience in an academic teaching setting preferred.
Principal duties:
Provide clinical care to pediatric pulmnology patients, in both the in and outpatient setting, including interpretation of PFTs and other tests as well as pariticpation in the division's outreach clinics. Provide teaching, in classroom, small group and in the clinical setting to a variety of learners. Pursue independent clinical research in an area of interest to the candidate and division.
  Additional Information:
 Candidates for associate professor (CHS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.
