The School of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks a doctorally prepared nurse with
expertise in simulated environments of health care. The successful candidate will direct the
implementation and evaluation of simulated learning activities in the School of Nursing (SON).
The individual will work collaboratively with multiple faculty and staff to lead activities related
to clinical simulation learning experiences. This position includeds faculty development, student
instruction, and engagement in the scholarship of teaching and learning in simulated environments.
The School of Nursing is one of the nation's oldest university nursing programs,
with a long and distinguished tradition of leadership in nursing research and education. The school
is situated on the beautiful lakeshore campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, one of the
world's leading public universities and research institutions. In summer of 2014, the School of
Nursing will occupy a new $53 million state-of-the-art nursing building.
The faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing has a notable record of interdisciplinary collaborative research. Collaborations with the Center for Health Systems Research & Analysis (CHSRA), Industrial Engineering, and the School of Medicine & Public Health are ongoing and offer potential collegial relationships.
