License/certification:

Eligible for Wisconsin medical license, BC/BE diagnostic radiology

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Fellowship training or experience in Breast Imaging including mammography, ultrasound and MR of the breast and breast biopsies is preferred. Appointment at the Associate or full Professor will require that candidate meets criteria for tenure and rank at the UW-Madison and UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

Principal duties:

The duties have a primary focus in breast radiology including mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI of the breast, fine needle aspiration and breast biopsies. This faculty position will be appointed as the Breast Imaging Section Chief. Clinical research and teaching are required. Successful candidate is expected to develop an interdisciplinary program in Breast Imaging clinical care, research, and education. Tenure track candidates are expected to develop an independent research program. Departmental teaching assignments include medical student, outreach and resident teaching. Participate in departmental, school, university and professional service appropriate to faculty rank.
