Degree and area of specialization:
Master's Degree in Audiology required.
Earned Au.D. (or equivalent)
preferred.
License/certification:
Candidates must be ASHA certified and state licensed (or eligible) in audiology.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
A minimum of three years of clinical work in audiology and experience supervising student clinical work preferred
Principal duties:
Teach the following Communicative Disorder course:
CD 891: Clerkship in Audiology I
Administer and evaluate practical exams and quizzes for students. Regular office hours
will be established and held, with extra help made available to students who request it.
This
person will also supervise students in the UW Speech and Hearing Clinic over the spring semester
2012. Clinical responsibilities include supervision of students and evaluation of students to
verify clinical
skills.
