Degree and area of specialization:
Qualified applicants must have a bachelor's degree. Advanced degrees and/or experience applying quality methods in higher education are a plus.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
A minimum of six years of experience in organizational development, specifically with strategic planning and/or process improvement. Applicants must have strong communication skills and practical knowledge of methods to help groups address complex organizational challenges. Must have demonstrated experience working with leaders to implement both small and large scale projects.
Principal duties:
This person will be responsible for working with leaders, faculty, and staff in academic and administrative units throughout the university to help them address their priorities and complex problems, while also advancing the campus priorities. Duties include: designing and facilitating strategic planning efforts, developing approaches to implement plans/priorities, collecting and analyzing data/information to inform decision making, developing measurement systems, working with groups to address complex problems, streamlining processes, coaching/advising leaders, teaching tools and approaches, and/or coordinating/managing projects.
