Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology, 4 year residency training, Fellowship
training or equivalent experience, CAQ certification or eligibility preferred.
Appointment
with tenure (associate or full professor) requires experience and credentials for appointment at
rank as described in the UW-Madison tenure guidelines, and UWSMPH tenure track promotion guidelines
for full professor
rank.
Principal duties:
Serve as a member of the tenured or tenure track faculty of the Department of Radiology. Develop
or continue an active, funded research program. Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and
other professionals. Participate in departmental outreach as appropriate. Perform clinical duties
in the Division of Abdominal Imaging. Clinical duties include ultrasound, remote 3D ultrasound,
ultrasound guided procedures, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT, and computed tomography (CT)
image guided procedures, virtual colonoscopy (VC), and gastrointestinal/genitourinary (GI/GU)
imaging areas of the body imaging section of the Department of Radiology. Participate in
departmental, school, university and professional service appropriate to the faculty rank. A
leadership role will be expected of candidates at senior ranks.
