Ph.D. and a strong background relevant to Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Distinguished academic record, exceptional potential for creative research and a commitment to both undergraduate and graduate instruction. For more senior applicants, an outstanding reputation in the field of specialty is a primary requirement.
Principal duties:
Participate in undergraduate and graduate instruction in the areas of technical competence.
Develop and maintain innovative graduate research programs on technological problems that are
relevant to the needs of the profession and of society. Participate in faculty governance;
participate in department, university, professional, and public service.
All areas of Civil
and Environmental Engineering will be considered but special consideration will be given for
candidates with primary research interest in the following areas:
* Sustainable water
systems and infrastructure
* Sustainable building design
* Sustainable infrastructure
construction
* Sustainable geo-environmental engineered
systems
