Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Appointment is in statistical methodology at the assistant professor level. Candidates must have strong skills in developing and applying state-of-the-art techniques and a commitment to teaching graduate courses in statistical methods. While this position has a primary focus on methodology as a research, publishing, and teaching field, candidates should also have research and teaching interests in another area of the discipline.
Principal duties:
Conduct scholarly research in statistical methodology. Teaching at all levels required with service at the professional and university level. Candidates must demonstrate a record of (or potential for) superior scholarly accomplishment.
