Degree and area of specialization:
Ph.D. in US History with a specialization in US miltary history or closely related field is required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Teaching experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with strong records in
teaching and research in US miltary history.
For Tenured position, a demonstrated record of
excellence in research, teaching and service is
required.
Principal duties:
This tenure-track position requires teaching in United States Miltary History at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate is expected to conduct and publish scholarly research and to perform University and community service as appropriate.
