Principal duties:
UW-Madison invites applications for one, open-rank position in cognitive science. The aim is to develop a concentration of research excellence in cognitive science, building on our existing strengths. Our emphasis is on excellence, independent of specific research area or method. This is an interdisciplinary search open to candidates with backgrounds in any of the allied disciplines constituting cognitive science including, but not limited to,: Communicative Disorders, Computer Science, Education, Linguistics, Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Psychology. Position responsibilities entail: conduct scholarly research, teaching and training undergraduate and graduate students in cognitive science; and department, university, community, and professional service as appropriate.
