Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum 1 year work experience. Experience in application of food science principles and knowledge of dairy processing and basic chemistry. Ability to communicate results in written form.
Principal duties:
Work independently and collaboratively on a project relating to bleaching of annatto cheese color in whey protein concentrates. Work initially will be bench top to determine factors affecting color removal. Final test of process will be on larger volumes of product in Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research pilot plant. Results of research need to be summarized in written form.
Additional Information:
Appointment end date will be extended if hired at less than 100% time.
If hired
at 100% time the end date will be
9/29/08.
