Demonstrated credentials and experience for appointment at the selected rank. Appointment at the rank of Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor requires meeting criteria for appointment level as defined in the School-wide guidelines.Subspecialty Fellowship training desirable.
Principal duties:
Four to four and one-half days per week in outpatient clinical activities dedicated to a combination of general neurology and an office-based subspecialty area, depending on demand for service and subspecialty background of the applicant. Locations of clinical activity would include the Department's 20 S. Park offices, and outreach clinics as determined by applicant expertise, and service needs. Other clinical duties would include attending on the inpatient and consultation services, clinical teaching activities, and participation in community medical education. No research component is expected. The majority of effort would be devoted to general neurology, but with the growing therapeutic subspecialty emphasis in neurology, some portion of the clinical schedule may be designated in a subspecialty area.
