M.D. and completion of accredited residency program in Radiation Oncology.
License/certification:
Board certified or eligible with certification expected within 2 years of hiring date. Applicants must be able to obtain medical licensure in Wisconsin without restriction.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Post-residency clinical experience highly desirable. Candidates for appointment as clinical associate professor will possess credentials appropriate to the rank per established UWSMPH guidelines for appointment and promotion to clinical associate professor or clinical professor.
Principal duties:
This position will primarily involve duties at the UW East Clinic in Madison, WIsconsin with provision of radiation oncology clinical services. Activities will include performing new patient consultation, weekly patient management and supervision of external beam radiation treatment programs. In addition, clinical trials participation is strongly encouraged as a component of the clinical practice. An active teaching role for residents in training is also anticipated.
