Degree and area of specialization:
M.S. in Nursing emphasis in adult health and illness preferred.
License/certification:
Wisconsin RN license required.
CNS certification
preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum two years of advanced practice nursing in CNS role. Teaching experience preferred.
Principal duties:
Overall responsibility for advanced health history and physical assessment course for graduate
students preparing to be adult clinical nurse specialists. Duties include development and delivery
of content related to advanced assessment via distance formats, conducting face-to-face clinical
labs and evaluating student progress. Other duties relate to the service and scholarship missions
of the School.
This position will be teaching one course every first (fall) semester of the
academic year only.
