M.D. and completion of residency in Radiation Oncology.
License/certification:
Applicants must be able to obtain medical licensure in Wisconsin and Illinois without
restriction.
Candidates with radiation oncology board certification will be favorably
considered. If not board certified prior to hire, completion of board certification will be
required within 2 years of hire
date.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Post-residency clinical experience is highly desirable.
Principal duties:
This position is located in a Regional Cancer Center affiliate of the University of Wisconsin Radiation Oncology Program, and will focus primarily on the practice of clinical radiotherapy. Clinical activities will include patient consults, weekly management, delivery of external beam and brachytherapy treatments, attendance at Tumor Board, and participation in clinical trials.
