WI medical license or eligible for. Board eligible or board certified in orthopedic surgery.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Applicant should have orthopedic surgery experience to fulfill the requirements of the position. Appointment as clinical associate professor or clinical professor requires that the candidate's credentials meet criteria per established SMPH guidelines for appointment and promotion on the clinician-teacher track.
Principal duties:
The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation is recruiting a full-time orthopedic generalist. Primary duties will be to provide patient care in the area of general orthopedic surgery. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members, and teaching and supervision of medical students and residents within the context of the clinical practice.
