the field of specialty is a primary requirement.

Principal duties:
Participate in undergraduate and graduate instruction in the areas of technical competence.
Develop and maintain innovative graduate research programs on technological problems that are
relevant to the needs of the profession and of society. Participate in faculty governance;
participate in department, university, professional, and public service.
Specialty areas of
primary research interest include:
Civil and Environmental Engineering, focusing on the
areas of:
- Sustainable water/geo environment
- Sustainable building design and
infrastructure
construction
