MD, Completed hepatology fellowship; Board Certified or Eligible in gastroenterology.
License/certification:
MD; eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin, BC/BE gastroenterology
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Scholarly credentials for tenured (associate professor) or tenure track (assistant professor)
faculty appointment at UW-Madison. Associate professor rank requires meeting established UW-Madison
criteria for tenured
appointment.
Principal duties:
Candidate will be expected to pursue research (approx 60% effort) and research funding in an area
of gastroenterology and hepatology. The faculty member will be expected to provide patient care
(approx 30%) at approved UW Health locations and potentially outreach in clinical hepatology, and
will participate in the teaching programs of the Department (approx 10% of effort). The successful
candidate will also participate in professional, public and university service appropriate to the
rank.
Additional Information:
Qualified candidates should have a record of research grant funding and publications appropriate to the rank.
