Degree and area of specialization:

MD, Interventional Radiology, board certified or eligible in diagnostic radiology

License/certification:

Wisconsin Medical License, BC/BE diagnostic radiology

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Applicant must be board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology. Fellowship training in interventional radiology preferred. Appointment at rank other than Assistant Professor will require that candidate meets criteria for tenure and rank at UW-Madison and UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

Principal duties:

Serve as a member of the tenured or tenure track faculty of the Department of Radiology. Develop or continue an active, funded research program. Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and other professionals. Participate in departmental outreach as appropriate. Perform clinical duties in the Division of Interventional Radiology, including diagnostic angiography, vascular interventional, non-vascular interventional procedures (such as abscess drainage, biliary drainage, percutaneous nephrostomy, pancreatic pseudocyst drainage, embolizations, and biopsy procedures under fluoroscopy, ultrasound, or CT guidance).
Participate in departmental, school, university and professional service appropriate to the faculty rank. A leadership role will be expected of candidates at senior ranks.

Supervision of 3 Nurse Practitioners.
