2 years postdoctoral experience
Principal duties:
Teaching: Major teaching responsibility will be in veterinary pharmacology course (20-25
lectures), possible participation in laboratory exercises and shared course coordination.
Individual should be well versed in principles of pharmacology (experience with veterinary
pharmacology useful). Participation in graduate education is expected.
Research: Conduct
an independent, extramurally funded research program in an area complementary to existing strengths
in the Department of Comparative Biosciences and the School of Veterinary Medicine. Examples
include but are not limited to: neuroscience, cardio/respiratory physiology, cancer biology/cell
signaling, and comparative medicine.
Approximate distribution of duties: 60% research, 30%
teaching, and 10%
service.
Additional Information:
Position may be offered on a 12 month basis ($75,000/minimum annual salary)
