Degree and area of specialization:

PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program. ABCN/ABPP eligible or boarded in clinical neuropsychology.

License/certification:

Wisconsin licensure or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure as a Clinical Psychologist

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

One year internship and two year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology.

Academic credentials and experience for appointment at the selected faculty rank. Appointment at rank of Associate Professor or Professor requires meeting criteria for tenure appointment at UW-Madison.

Principal duties:

Develop independent extramurally funded basic, translational and clinical research programs in neurology and pursue funding for research. Candidates should have proven ability in the conduct of successful research.

Attending duties on pediatric neuropsychology outpatient, inpatient consult and diagnostic services at UWHC and outreach clinics. Participate in department teaching activities, including neurology clerkship, first year neuroscience, graduate student and trainee mentoring. Train residents, fellows and medical students. Participate in continuing medical education programs. Candidates at rank of associate professor or professor will hold a leadership role in the department.

The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service appropriate to the faculty rank.
