Degree and area of specialization:

MD or MD/PhD; Board certified or eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.

License/certification:

eligible for Wisconsin medical license

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Completed accredited fellowship training program. Candidates for associate professor rank will have credentials appropriate for a tenured faculty appointment at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Principal duties:

Approximately 60% effort devoted to laboratory research focused upon bone marrow transplantation, and approximately 40% clinical patient care and clinical teaching, classroom teaching and contributions to leadership and administration of translational research and education. The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public and university service appropriate to the faculty rank.

Additional Information:

The division of Hematology/Oncology is part of the Department of Medicine and the NCI-designated UW Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Division is active in all phases of cancer therapy development and evaluation.
