Principal duties:

The Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, is seeking an individual who has a strong commitment to medical education and research. The successful candidate is expected to have exceptional potential to establish an extramurally funded transcription/translational research program in urologic oncology. This position will have protected time for research, with remaining time spent in developing an inpatient and outpatient clinical practice characterized by state-of-the-art patient care utilizing open, laparoscopic, and endourologic techniques within an established group of urologic oncologists working at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and the UW Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center. UW Madison School of Medicine and Public Health offers opportunities to collaborate with campus faculty who are experts in population health and bioinformatics. Academic responsibilities will also include training medical students, residents, fellows, and midlevel providers.

The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public and university service appropriate to the faculty rank.
