M.D. Psychiatry, Board eligible or board certified in psychiatry. Child Psychiatry.
License/certification:
Must be able to obtain Wisconsin Medical Licensure.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
May be assistant or associate professor rank on the CHS track, a non-tenure faculty track emphasizing excellence in clinical care and education. Associate professor (CHS) rank requires experience and credentials that meet school-wide criteria for rank and review by the CHS track promotions and appointments committee.
Principal duties:
We are seeking an established or new child and adolescent psychiatrist with clinical
specialization in the areas of anxiety, schizophrenia, or affective disorders. Applicants must be
board certified or board eligible with a firm plan to complete them. Teaching and supervision of
general psychiatry residents, fellows, interns and postdoctoral trainees, medical students and
graduate students as assigned. Service on Department and School of Medicine and Public Health
committees as appropriate. Research opportunities to complement the applicant's clinical practice
interests are available in both outpatient and inpatient
settings.
