Degree and area of specialization:
Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years of postdoctoral experience in the pharmaceutical or biomedical sciences or biomedical engineering.
Principal duties:
Applicants should be knowledgeable in the general area of drug delivery, gene delivery, or imaging; preferred research areas include biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, or biological transport phenomena; innovative drug or gene targeting strategies; molecular imaging; or drug delivery to the Central Nervous System (CNS). The individual must be capable of maintaining or building a strong independent research program while engaging in productive collaborative interdisciplinary research. A commitment to professional and graduate education is essential. University and community service is expected as appropriate.
