Ph.D. in economics/agricultural economics/public policy is
required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
0-1 years of experience.
Principal duties:
Develop a high quality research program on agricultural policy issues and to work collaboratively
on policy analysis and education with other faculty members of AAE, the University of
Wisconsin-Extension/Cooperative Extension, leaders in Wisconsin's agricultural sector, and
legislators at both the state and federal levels. The responsibilities associated with this
faculty position are
70% Extension and 30% Research.
The teaching requirement will be
one course per year in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics, in a core area of
expertise. Serve as an advisor to undergraduate and gradute students, as well as provide normal
university
service.
