Degree and area of specialization:
M.D., Physician licensure in Wisconsin. Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
License/certification:
Wisconsin medical license
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Experience and credentials appropriate for CHS track, a non-tenure SMPH track focusing on educational and clinical excellence. Appointment at associate or full professor level on this track requires meeting established SMPH criteria.
Principal duties:
MD clinician with a reputation in the treatment of adult and/or geriatric psychiatric disorders.
Experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings is desirable. Prior work in specialty area
possibly in anxiety or where anxiety is co-morbid with other disease is valued. Teaching &
Supervision of general psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellow, psychology
interns, postdoctoral trainees, medical students and graduate students as assigned. Service on
appropriate Department and Medical School committees as appropriate. Research opportunities to
complement the applicants clinical practice available.
Additional Information:
Prior work in specialty area possibly in anxiety or where anxiety is co-morbid with other disease is valued. Experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings is desirable.
