| Job Summary: | |
This position works under the broad direction of the manager of the Product
Management group. The product manager is responsible for managing the full
life cycle of a family of IT products, from concept through development to
release to discontinuance. This position requires in-depth technical knowledge
of personal computers and related products, including hardware, software, and
related peripherals, as well as computer site licensing and licensing
requirements. This position requires solid business and product management
skills that include business plan development, budget management, price
analysis, database creation and administration, marketing research, and
inventory management. This position requires excellent interpersonal and
customer service skills. Attention to details and the ability to consistently
follow-through are essential in this position. The product manager will work primarily in support of the DoIT Tech Store to develop new products, coordinate marketing campaigns, distribute accurate product information and match products to customer needs, coordinate product distribution, establish product support, and to enact easy-to-use order fulfillment. |
