The Office of Human Resources has outsourced the employee verification process to a third party source, The Work Number.
If a contact calls asking for employee verification of a University employee, they can reach The Work Number at 1-800-367-5690. If a contact asks for it, UW–Madison’s employer code is 18032.
If anyone asks for a salary code, please inform them that the employee in question must verify a salary code before any employer can gain access.
